参与性会员小组(以下简称“小组”)是研究会的一种基本组织形式。每个小组由5名或以上会员自愿组成,来自不同学科和不同单位。各小组都具有明确的活动主题,并有与研究会愿景和使命相一致的活动领域,采用参与性方法开展活动。
Participatory Member Team (here after referred to as the Team) is part of the key organization structure of YHDRA. The Team is made up of members from different disciplines and organizations. It is formed under members' own initiatives. Each Team has a clear theme which the activity is based on. This theme is consistent with YHDRA's vision and mission. The Team activities use a participatory approach to maximize each member's input.
小组的组建遵循会员自愿、自由、自主的原则,自主确定活动领域和主题,自己制定活动计划,自由确定活动方式,自主开展活动,经过申报审批程序而成立。小组充分体现了研究会“四多一性”的特点(多学科、多样性、多元化、多层次,参与性)。小组分为两类:目标明确、管理严格的“课题小组”和自由活动、管理宽松的“兴趣小组。”
The formation of each Team is based on team members' free will, freedom to explore, and self directed principle. The team members set up their own domain of activities, topics, and plans and then conduct it's activities. The Team is established by a registration, review, and approval process. The Teams are expected to fully demonstrate YHDRA's characteristics of "four 'multiples' and one special characteristic" (multi-disciplines, multi-voices, multi-approaches, multi-levels, and participatory approach). There are two types of Teams: "special topics team" - tightly managed with specific targets; "general interests team" - loosely managed with free activities.
在2002年之前,研究会共成立了12个小组,此后小组不断在动态发展。截至2010年11月,研究会共有20个小组,还有“蓝色港湾”、“青年学苑”这两个“亚组织”。“蓝色港湾”由中老年会员组成,是联系中老年会员的组织;“青年学苑”是联系年轻会员的组织,包括各大专院校相关专业的研究生。
Prior to 2002, YHDRA established 12 Teams. Since that time, the Teams have grown dynamically to 20 Teams by November of 2010. In addition, there are two "semi-teams." One such team is the "Blue Harbor" team. This team is made up of middle-aged and senior members with the objective of promoting communications among these members. The other team is called "Youth Forum". This team is made up of young members from universities and research institutes. Its purpose is also for communications among its members.
小组的特点:成员多学科、主题多样化、活动多形式;自愿、自由、自主。
Team's characteristics: members from different disciplines; topics cover a broad range, activities take on many forms. Self-initiated, freedom to explore, and self-directed.
小组的要求:每个小组的成员中,都必须同时有医学和社会科学两大类科学专业背景的会员。
Team's requirement: each team must have members from both medical science and social science.
小组的领域和主题:早期小组领域涉及生育健康理论与服务、青春期性健康教育、妇女生育健康、计划生育优质服务、民族发展、卫生改革、反暴力反性虐待等。
后来小组主题不断丰富,包括青春期性教育、农民工健康服务、社区健康与发展、贫困女性健康与发展、人口健康促进、资助贫困女童就学、参与性健康教育、妇幼保健、环境与健康、行为与健康、HIV/AIDS家庭教育关怀、性弱势群体(同性爱)的研究等。
最新的小组主题有志愿者工作、营养与健康、社会性别、社会网络分析、民族文化与性健康、因特网与生殖健康、青少年生殖健康、农民工亲子关系促进、低碳生活与妇女健康等。还有一些专门编译健康读本、翻译相关专著、开发科普材料、研究参与性方法、项目管理与评估、社会调查方法、健康社会科学情报研究等,为研究会项目、其它小组提供服务与技术支持。
Team's domain and theme: in earlier stages, the Teams covered domains such as reproductive health theory and service, sexual health education for adolescence, women's reproductive health, family planning services, ethnic group development, health policy, anti-violence and anti-sexual abuse, etc. In later stages, the Teams domains continued to broaden. They covered migrant farm workers' health, community health and development, poor women's health and development, population health promotion, support poor female students' education, participatory health education, child and maternal health, environment and health, behavior and health, HIV/AIDS and family education, research on underprivileged sexual group (homosexuals), etc. The latest Team domains include volunteer work, nutrition and health, social gender, social network analysis, ethnic culture and sexual health, Internet and reproductive health, adolescence reproductive health, migrant farm workers' parenting issues, low carbon living and women's health.
Additional Teams' activities include compilation of special health reading material. Translation of relevant documentations, develop technical material, research on participatory methodology, project management and evaluation, community survey methodologies, healthy society intelligence research and other activities related to supporting YHDRA's projects and teams.
活动形式:研究会小组的活动形式主要有理论研讨、社会服务、田野调查、侃谈交流、社区示范、文献学习、社会宣传、项目技术支持、文献翻译、科普材料开发等,参与性方法是常用的方法之一。
Activity styles: the primary styles include discussion on theories, community services, field survey, candid conversations, community demonstrations, literature search studies, social promotions, project support, literature translation, development of technical material, and participatory methodologies.

如:“民营医疗机构健康促进小组” 以南窑社区的诊所和幼儿园为基地,开展农民工子女的健康促进、健康教育、心理咨询和免费体检等服务,受到了农民工的广泛赞誉。
"Private healthcare providers’ health promotion team" based at the Nanyaw community clinic and developed a service to the farm migrants and their children for health promotion, education, psychological counseling and free physical checkups.
“农村人口健康促进小组” 深入藏区,开展健康促进的社会调查,以及在极度贫困、资源匮乏、地广人稀的地区,进行生殖健康服务的研究,为“川滇藏人口健康促进项目”提供理论和技术支持。
"Health promotion in village team" deep into the Tibetan regions to promote community health through community visits. Research on how to provide reproductive health services to Sichuan, Yunnan, and Tibet people under extreme poverty, lack of resources, and low population density. Provide theoretical and technical support to then Health Promotion Project in Sichuan/Yunnan and Tibet.
“促进贫困女性健康与发展小组”和”阳光之旅小组”,开展救助贫困女生完成学业的活动,同时鼓励资助对象树立远大志向,培养高尚道德情操。
"Health and development promotion for women in poverty" and “Sunshine tour team’ developed a program to help poor female students to complete their education and set up goals with high morals.
